The soups are great: rosol, pickle, sour soup and more...the pierogi fillings vary daily but my favorite is forever the cheese + potato. They sell meats, cheeses, and other fine foods from snacks to pantry items. There's a vegetable/grocery area with a barrel of pickles you can pick and pay by the ounce. I observed that the pricings are similar to other local markets. ”

“ This is one of those cultural stops you have to try to appreciate. It is a Polish/eastern European grocery store that carries so many products from the old country. So much so that many of the aisles are filled with items for which they don't even bother with an English translation. That said, this is a charming and wonderful place. When you walk in you see a deli case that spans the whole width of the building chock full of sausages and cheeses and meats ... you are sure to find something you like. Then at the back they have a large prepared food setup, where you can select and have packaged an entire meal. Add these to aisles upon aisles of grocery items and you have an extensive grocery selection. Try this place for eastern European ethnic foods...you won't be sorry. ”

“ I had bought TONS of chicken breast from a grocery store when they were on sale for 0.99/lb. But chicken breast to us Chinese is always dry and tough. I've made it a couple of times and it was just ok. That's why we don't usually buy chicken breast but for 0.99/lb, I bought 25lbs. I have growing boys and they eat a lot!!! So my coworker showed me a picture of a bag you can get at a Polish grocery store with herbs and you just have to put the chicken in and it'll turn out moist, juicy and delicious. I had to get me some bags and see what kind of a sorcery is this! I haven't made it yet but I went to Lassak to get my bags and also some kabanos that I absolutely love! They have everything. Such a well stocked produced grocery store. Not always the friendliest at the butcher shop so that's why I had taken away a star. I felt like when I asked them questions, they were a bit irritated by me. I would still go back again. The lady who worked in the aisle and the cashier was also very nice when I had asked for help. I want to try their hot food one day! ”
